Looking at Soundshow to operate as a soundboard type app for both sfx and music.
Here's what I need:
- The ability for each cue (touchable cell) to have an output device assigned. It looks like you can do this for more than 2 devices with the Pro version, but are there any gotchas? Can the assigned output device for a cue be indicated in the cell/button itself? (numbers, letters, etc).
- Within a output device, I need for the ability for "solo" play. Such that a button assigned to device 1 would play its sound, if you cue another also assigned to that device, it will fade the original one out, and start the new one. This is often used for background music or stingers where they'd never stack.
- Can ducking be triggered via OSC or MIDI or some external source?
- Can the behavior of touching a cell of an already running cue be changed? It seems to always play a new stacked cue, could it be instead configured to fade out an existing running cue?
- Can the playing "progress" be indicated in the cell itself? I get that a playing cue shows up in the "players" window, but it would make more sense to me (esp for solo items) if the cell it self showed a visual state of playback, progress bar, etc.
Thanks so much!
