Platform: Windows 11 Pro
Sound Show Version: 05.02.2026 Free Win64
Steps to reproduce the problem:
Launch voicemeeter before Soundshow.
What happened versus what should have happened:
If Voicemeeter is running and you then run Soundshow, you get an error in the bottom right corner saying that the audio output device is disconnected. In "Options -> Devices", if you click the Driver drop-down box, the only devices shown are "NoSound Driver" and the one you set up - all other audio devices are missing.
Further actions taken:
- I tried deleting the folders in the appdata/local and appdata/locallow folders and relaunching. Same error.
- I tried re-downloading a fresh version of Soundshow. Same issue.
- I shut down Voicemeeter, launched Soundshow, then launched Voicemeeter again - Audio playback now works from Soundshow. Plus I can see all audio devices again in "Options -> Devices - > Driver" selection box.
Comments:
It's not a major bug, as you can work around it. I'm just going to write a little script to launch Soundshow first, then Voicemeeter.
