Sounds won't play simultaneously

I am on a windows PC, when I attempt to use instructions, I am forced to either play all sounds simultaneously, or use the manual stop, If I auto play sounds, but have simultaneous un-selected in the group instructions window they all play simultaneously anyway. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or is this a bug?

There was a bug in previous versions of Sound Show when playing sounds on a device configured as "Is preview". Sounds would be considered not really playing and it will go to the next instruction immediately.
If you download the latest version of Sound Show , you should not have this issue anymore.
If you don't want to update now, you can just change the output device or change its option: "Options" -> "Devices" -> "Is Preview"
